Andy Hofmann | CPA, M.S. Taxation
Andy has decades of experience in corporate income taxation, primarily as a Senior Tax Manager with over 32 years of increasing responsibility and managing complex assignments with Lockheed Martin Corporation from which he retired in January, 2018. His most significant achievements included assisting in the identification and implementation of tax planning opportunities, and participated in M&A transactions valued in excess of $3B supporting acquisition/disposition & joint venture activities. He took on a special assignment by relocating to the U.K. for 17 months to review, evaluate, and potentially modify the Corporations' processes, procedures, systems, controls, communications and training regarding the Corporations' U.K. activities as it relates to U.K. and U.S. financial accounting, reporting and compliance matters attributable to Corporate Income Tax. He also supported the Corporate Accounting Department with close-out activities related to the Companies sale of the IS&GS Business Area to Leidos Corporation.
Andy is a CPA licensed in Maryland, and holds a M.S. in Taxation from Georgetown University, and a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University of PA. He is a member of the AICPA, past member of MACPA, and former member, board member and officer of the Baltimore-Washington Chapter of Tax Executives Institute (TEI) most recently as the Chapter President. He has also participated as a Financial Counselor and Small Group Leader at Covenant Life Church.
Andy resides in Damascus MD. He has two married sons, and three grandchildren.
